186FA / 188 / 190 / 192 / 195 Diesel Engine Overview

The 186 diesel engine covers five displacements — 186FA (418 cc, 5.7 kW) / 188 (456 cc, 7.0 kW) / 190 (477 cc, 7.5 kW) / 192 (498 cc, 8.0 kW) / 195 (531 cc, 8.5 kW) — sharing one engine body and mounting pattern, so a buyer can move up or down the power range without changing the equipment around it. Rated output runs from 5.7 kW to 8.5 kW at 3600 r/min, and every model is offered with recoil or electric start. It is the power unit behind diesel generators, water pumps and other equipment that runs long hours on a single tank.

Choosing inside the 186 diesel engine range is mainly a question of duty cycle: the smaller displacements suit intermittent standby duty, while the larger ones hold rated output through long continuous runs. Because every 186 diesel engine in this range shares the same block and mounting face, moving up a size does not force a redesign of the generator, pump or trailer it drives. All five share a 5.5 L fuel tank and 1.65 L oil capacity, and ship in a 510×470×550 mm carton.

What is a diesel engine used for?

A diesel engine is commonly used for generators, water pumps, agricultural machinery, tillers, construction equipment, and other power equipment requiring stable and durable performance.

How do I choose the right diesel engine?

You can choose based on power output, displacement, starting method, cooling type, shaft type, fuel consumption, and the equipment you need to match.

What is the difference between a diesel engine and a gasoline engine?

Diesel engines are usually more suitable for long working hours, heavy-duty applications, and fuel-efficient operation. Gasoline engines are often lighter and more suitable for portable equipment.

Can I customize diesel engines for my equipment?

Yes. We support OEM/ODM customization, including logo, color, label, packaging, starting method, shaft type, and configuration based on bulk order requirements.

What certificates are available for diesel engines?

CE certification can be supported for diesel engines. Certificate availability may vary by model and destination market. Additional certification support is available based on customer requirements.

01Material InspectionIncoming raw materials and components are inspected against our quality standards before entering production.
02Precision MachiningCore parts are machined in-house on CNC equipment to keep tolerances and performance consistent batch after batch.
03Assembly LineUnits are assembled on dedicated production lines by trained operators, with in-process checks at each station.
04Testing & Running-inEvery unit goes through functional testing and running-in before it is approved for packing.
05Packing & LoadingProducts are packed to export standards, with OEM logo, color and carton design available on request.

Factory audits and video inspections are welcome. Contact us to arrange a visit or a live production walkthrough.
